Snowdrop Howell

A recently turned vampire, Snowdrop dedicates most of his time to helping out Oleander with whatever they might need, as thanks for having saved him from the very messy situation he found himself in after his turning. Now that Oleander has decided to settle down for a time, Snowdrop spends a lot of his time traveling in errands all over the world.

Biography

Human Life

Snowdrop was an only child, born and raised in a small rural town in an island country. He had a very normal childhood, loved and spoiled rotten by his parents

As a teenager, he discovered a passion for painting, and spent the next several years studying and working, hoping to get accepted by a famous Atelier in the big city, to kickstart his art career.

After several attempts, at 24, he finally got accepted, and he moved to the city to pursue his dreams.

Very soon however, things went wrong. He had never left his small town before, and he was very lost, and struggled to find his place in the new environment, which seemed to move at twice his speed, and was very unforgiving of him not knowing what he was doing.

It was during this tumultuous time that he was approached by a stranger, who offered to help him, and he accepted.

That night he woke up under a bridge, his body having seemingly been disposed haphazardly. The man, as it turned out, had been a Vampire, who never had any intention to help him at all. He'd been just an easy meal who wasn't meant to survive

Snowdrop however had been accidentally turned, and now found himself lost, confused, and terribly hungry.

Recently Turned

As a newly turned vampire with no guidance, and no one to ask for help, Snowdrop was a walking disaster. He was voraciously hungry, and being completely alone, often found himself waking up covered in blood, with no idea where it came from, or what he had done.

Soon enough, news of a mysterious figure attacking people at night began to spread. Snowdrop knew it was him, but didn't know how to stop it, and was now worried instead of finding help, he'd just find himself jailed or killed, if he reached out to anyone. He was terrified

It was then that a foreigner got roped into the investigation. A young person known only as Oleander, very quickly figured out what was going on, and tracked him down in a matter of days

Oleander, instead of turning him in, decided to help him. as a █████, she had no blood to be taken, and no real body to be harmed, so she felt confident enough to approach him, and offer him a way out. Seeing no other alternative, Snowdrop agreed, and she snuck him onto a ship, smuggling him out of the country.

Early Vampire Years

During the following months, Oleander taught him as much as she was able. She looked after him, guided him through figuring out his new vampiric nature, even sourced food for him until he learned how to get his own without harming people.

Eventually, Snowdrop could be trusted to handle himself again, no longer a threat to anyone he didn't choose to be a threat to. He decided to stay for longer, and accompany Oleander in her travels, as a way to thank her, and a little bit because he didn't feel ready to say goodbye yet.

They became really close friends, so much so, that Oleander eventually took him to her home in Riververn, and showed him her true body, the ████████████, her one true weakness. Snowdrop understood the weight of this, recognized it for the gesture of trust that it was, and swore to protect the ████████████ with his life.

Oleander's Manager

A few years after, one night, someone snuck into the property, and started a fire on the Garden. Snowdrop was the only one home at the time, and while he wasn't able to stop the spread of the fire for the most part, he was able to reach the ████████████ fast enough to save it

The fire ravaged the property, destroying the garden, and Oleander's home, even the ████████████ didn't get away unscathed. It got damaged enough that she coudn't sustain her humanoid projection, all of her magic going to the ████████████, to heal faster.

For the next few months, Snowdrop worked to take care of the ████████████, making sure it was healing and safe, and in the meantime, he spent most of his time rebuilding the house, so Oleander would have a home to return to once she was well enough to come back.

When Oleanded did finally return however, they were...Different. They looked like a completely different person, and seemed to have forgotten some of what it was like to be a human, or to live amongst humans. They decided to settle down for a while, to recover mentally from the whole experience, and so, while Oleander stopped traveling anywhere further than the nearby town of Riververn, Snowdrop became their errands boy, spending most of his time traveling all over the world, to manage Oleander's bussiness.

• After getting used to his new life, he got back in contact with his parents, and mantains it to this day.
